Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low-sodium
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes or more to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
  • Heat over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture simmers and slightly thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using.
  • Store any leftover glaze in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes

Adjust red pepper flakes for desired heat. This glaze works wonderfully on grilled chicken, roasted pork, or even drizzled over roasted root vegetables. For a thicker glaze, simmer for a few extra minutes.
