Ingredients
  

  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and rice vinegar in a small saucepan.
  • Whisk until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Allow it to simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce slightly thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and let the sauce cool slightly before using.
  • Use immediately as a glaze, marinade, or dipping sauce, or transfer to an airtight container for refrigeration.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a teaspoon of grated fresh ginger or a pinch of red chili flakes. This sauce can be used as a marinade (marinate for at least 30 minutes), a basting glaze during cooking, or as a dipping sauce. Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
