- Place 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers into a heatproof teapot or pitcher.
- Pour hot water over the flowers.
- Steep for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on desired strength.
- Strain to remove flowers, sweeten to taste, and serve hot or chill for iced tea.
- **For Cold Brew:** Place 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers in a large pitcher.
- Add 4 cups of cold filtered water.
- Cover and refrigerate for 4 to 8 hours, or overnight.
- Strain, sweeten to taste, and serve over ice.
- **For Authentic Agua de Jamaica:** Rinse 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers under cold water.
