Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 2 strips bacon
- 2 slices bread any type
- 1 tsp butter for toast (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place bacon in a cold skillet and cook over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Drain most of the bacon grease from the skillet, leaving about a teaspoon. Heat skillet over medium-low heat.
- Crack eggs into a bowl, add salt and pepper, and whisk gently until yolks and whites are just combined. Pour eggs into the skillet.
- Cook, stirring occasionally with a spatula, until eggs are set to your desired consistency, about 2-4 minutes.
- While eggs are cooking, toast the bread. Once toasted, butter if desired.
- Serve scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and toast immediately on a plate.
Notes
For a healthier twist, use turkey bacon and whole-wheat toast. Add a side of fresh fruit or a sprinkle of cheese to the eggs for extra flavor. Adjust cooking times for preferred egg consistency.
