- 1.5 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
- 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 slices thick-cut bread (e.g.
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (or vegan butter)
- 0.5 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, gently heat the almond milk over medium-low heat until warm but not boiling.
- Stir in the maple syrup (or honey) and vanilla extract into the hot almond milk. Keep warm.
- While the milk heats, toast the bread to your desired crispness.
