Ingredients
- 1 cup milk any type (dairy or non-dairy)
- 0.5 tsp turmeric powder
- 0.5 tsp ashwagandha powder
- 0.25 tsp nutmeg grated or ground
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon powder optional
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup to taste
- Pinch black pepper optional
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine milk, turmeric powder, ashwagandha powder, nutmeg, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of black pepper (if using).
- Heat over medium-low heat, whisking constantly, until warm and frothy, but do not boil. This usually takes about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup to taste.
- Pour into a mug and enjoy warm, preferably 30-60 minutes before bedtime.
Notes
