Ingredients
- 1 lb Spaghetti
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 28 oz can Crushed tomatoes
- 0.5 cup Vegetable broth
- 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 0.25 cup Fresh basil chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 10-15 minutes, allowing sauce to thicken.
