Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- 1 lemon cut into wedges for serving
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp thoroughly dry with paper towels.
- In a medium bowl, toss the dried shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add the seasoned shrimp in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque and are cooked through. Do not overcook.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and transfer to serving plates. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
