Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • Pat the shrimp thoroughly dry with paper towels.
  • In a medium bowl, toss the dried shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add the seasoned shrimp in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque and are cooked through. Do not overcook.
  • Remove the shrimp from the skillet and transfer to serving plates. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

Serve immediately with pasta, rice, or a fresh side salad. For a touch of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the seasonings. Ensure shrimp are thoroughly patted dry for the best sear.
