Ingredients
  

  • 1 each Vietnamese baguette (or French baguette) sliced lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons pork pate spread on one side of the baguette
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise spread on the other side of the baguette
  • 4 slices Vietnamese ham (Chả lụa) thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup pickled daikon and carrot julienned
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro roughly chopped
  • 0.25 cup cucumber sliced thinly
  • 1 each jalapeño sliced thinly (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Maggi seasoning sauce drizzled

Instructions
 

  • Lightly toast the baguette halves in a toaster oven or on a pan until warmed and slightly crispy.
  • Spread pork pate on one side of the baguette and mayonnaise on the other.
  • Arrange the sliced Vietnamese ham evenly over the pate.
  • Layer the pickled daikon and carrot, fresh cilantro, and cucumber slices inside the baguette.
  • Add jalapeño slices if desired for a spicy kick.
  • Drizzle with Maggi seasoning sauce.
  • Carefully close the sandwich and serve immediately.

Notes

For an authentic experience, use a Vietnamese-style baguette that is light and airy with a crisp crust. You can customize fillings with grilled pork, chicken, or tofu. Adjust chili and cilantro to your taste.
