Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 0.5 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tbsp ginger fresh
  • 1 lemon juice of

Instructions
 

  • Combine water, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup (or honey), and grated ginger in a pitcher.
  • Stir well until the sweetener is completely dissolved.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as desired. Add lemon juice if using.
  • Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and chill thoroughly.
  • Strain out the ginger before serving, if preferred, or leave it in for a stronger flavor. Serve chilled over ice.

Notes

For an extra citrusy kick, add a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice. You can also experiment with different sweeteners like honey or agave syrup. Adjust the amount of ginger and sweetener to suit your taste. For a stronger ginger flavor, let it steep longer or gently muddle the grated ginger before adding. Strain the ginger before serving if you prefer a smoother drink.
