Ingredients
  

  • 500 gram lamb leg (cubed) or beef/chicken
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 clove garlic (minced)
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large bell pepper (cubed) any color
  • 1 medium onion (cubed)
  • 100 gram cherry tomatoes

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, oregano, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the cubed meat and toss to coat thoroughly. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or preferably 2-4 hours.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated meat, bell pepper, onion, and cherry tomatoes alternately onto the skewers.
  • Grill the kebabs for 8-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked through and lightly charred. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the meat and desired doneness.
  • Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the meat for at least 2 hours or overnight. You can vary the vegetables to your liking; bell peppers, onions, and cherry tomatoes are popular choices. Serve with rice, pita bread, or a fresh salad.
