  • 1 lb salmon fillets skinless
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
  • 1 tbsp green onions chopped

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil to create the honey garlic glaze.
  • Add the salmon cubes to the bowl and toss gently to coat them evenly with the glaze. Let it marinate for 5-10 minutes if time allows, but it's not strictly necessary.
  • Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the glazed salmon cubes in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the salmon is opaque and lightly caramelized. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from heat. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite sides like rice, quinoa, or steamed vegetables.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes. Serve with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Pairs well with rice or roasted vegetables. You can also bake the salmon at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
