Ingredients
  

  • 4 cup water
  • 1 tsp fresh ground turmeric
  • 0.5 tsp ginger powder
  • Optional: 1 slice lemon
  • Optional: 1 tsp honey or maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Boil four cups of water in a small saucepan.
  • Add the fresh ground turmeric and ginger powder.
  • Keep at a simmer or low boil and stir slowly for 5-8 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
  • Strain the tea into mugs.
  • Optionally, add a slice of lemon and sweeten with honey or maple syrup to taste.
  • Serve warm and enjoy the golden goodness.

Notes

For a stronger flavor, steep longer. Add a slice of lemon or a dash of honey or maple syrup to taste. Fresh ginger can be used instead of powder (about 1-inch grated).
