Ingredients

  • 1 cup prepared sea moss gel
  • 1 set ice cube trays
  • 1 large freezer-safe bag or container

Instructions

  • Ensure your sea moss gel is freshly prepared and cooled.
  • Pour the prepared sea moss gel evenly into the compartments of your ice cube trays, making sure not to overfill.
  • Carefully place the filled ice cube trays into the freezer. Freeze for a minimum of 3-4 hours, or until the cubes are completely solid.
  • Once frozen, remove the solid sea moss gel cubes from the trays.
  • Transfer the frozen cubes into an airtight, freezer-safe bag or container. Label with the date.
  • Store the frozen sea moss gel cubes in the freezer for up to 3-4 weeks for optimal freshness.
  • To use, simply add one or two frozen cubes directly into your smoothies, juices, or hot teas. Alternatively, thaw cubes in the refrigerator overnight for use in other recipes.

Notes

For best results, use freshly made sea moss gel. Avoid refreezing thawed gel. Cubes can be added directly to cold liquids or thawed in the fridge. Freezing preserves most nutrients and extends shelf life significantly.
