Ingredients

  • 1 cup water filtered
  • 1 medium lemon sliced or juiced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger grated
  • 0.5 cup raspberries mashed

Instructions

  • Prepare your flavorings: For Lemon Ice Cubes, slice lemons thinly or squeeze fresh lemon juice. For Ginger Ice Cubes, grate fresh ginger. For Raspberry Ice Cubes, gently mash fresh raspberries. For other variations, prepare chosen fruits (e.g., cucumber slices, mint leaves).
  • Assemble the trays: Place desired flavorings into each compartment of an ice cube tray. You can mix and match or dedicate trays to single flavors.
  • Add water: Carefully pour filtered water over the flavorings, filling each compartment almost to the brim.
  • Freeze: Place the ice cube trays in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.
  • Store: Once frozen, remove the cubes from the trays and transfer them to an airtight freezer bag or container. This prevents freezer burn and keeps them fresh.
  • Enjoy: Add these flavorful ice cubes to still water, sparkling water, iced tea, lemonade, or cocktails for a refreshing burst of natural taste and a beautiful presentation.

Notes

Experiment with other fruits like mint, cucumber, orange slices, or herbs. Use filtered water for best results. Store cubes in an airtight bag for up to 2 weeks. Great for water, iced tea, cocktails, or mocktails!
