Ingredients
  

  • 2 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low-sodium
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the bowl, ensuring they are thoroughly coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.
  • Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil if desired, though the sesame oil in the marinade usually suffices.
  • Place the marinated chicken in the hot pan, discarding any excess marinade from the bowl. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and lightly caramelized.
  • Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
