Ingredients
  

  • 2 white fish fillets (about 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 lemon (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  • Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and black pepper, then place them in the prepared baking dish.
  • Drizzle the melted butter evenly over each fish fillet.
  • Lay lemon slices on top of the fish, then generously sprinkle the chopped fresh dill over everything.
  • Bake uncovered for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the edges turn opaque.
  • Carefully remove from the oven and serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For best results, use fresh, high-quality fish fillets. This recipe works wonderfully with cod, tilapia, salmon, or halibut. Feel free to add a sprinkle of garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor. Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad.
