Ingredients
  

  • 2 salmon fillets ~6 oz each
  • 1 lb asparagus spears trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 lemon sliced or juiced for serving

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  • 2. Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. In a medium bowl, toss asparagus spears with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.
  • 3. Brush or drizzle the salmon fillets with the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Season generously with garlic powder, the remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.
  • 4. Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Arrange the asparagus spears around the salmon.
  • 5. Air fry for 10-14 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the asparagus is tender-crisp. (Cooking time may vary depending on salmon thickness and air fryer model).
  • 6. Serve immediately with fresh lemon slices or a squeeze of lemon juice over the top.

Notes

For best results, pat salmon dry before seasoning. Adjust cook time based on salmon thickness (thicker fillets may need 2-3 more minutes). Try adding a sprinkle of chili flakes for a subtle kick. Serve with quinoa or brown rice for a more filling meal.
