A warming and nourishing superfood drink combining rich cacao with adaptogenic reishi or ashwagandha, energizing maca, and comforting cinnamon. Perfect for a mindful moment of calm and well-being.
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk any variety
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder unsweetened
- 1 teaspoon maca powder
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.5 teaspoon reishi powder or ashwagandha powder
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1-2 teaspoon maple syrup or other preferred sweetener (optional)
Instructions
- Gently warm your milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Do not boil; simply heat until steaming.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- Add the cacao powder, maca powder, ground cinnamon, reishi (or ashwagandha) powder, and sea salt to the warm milk.
- Whisk vigorously until all powders are fully dissolved and the elixir is smooth and slightly frothy.
- Taste and add maple syrup (or your chosen sweetener) if desired, whisking until combined.
