Ingredients
  

  • 250 gram Protein of choice (chicken beef
  • 1.5 tablespoon Shiokoji

Instructions
 

  • Pat your chosen protein dry with paper towels.
  • In a bowl, combine the protein with shiokoji. Rub the shiokoji evenly over all surfaces of the protein.
  • For chicken and beef, marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes, or refrigerate for 2-4 hours. For squid and prawns, marinate for 15-30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Cook the marinated protein using your desired method (stir-frying, grilling, pan-frying) until fully cooked and tender. Enjoy your perfectly juicy protein!

Notes

Adjust marinating time based on protein type and thickness. For best results, don't over-marinate delicate seafood. Shiokoji also adds a subtle umami flavor, so go easy on additional salt in your dish.
