Ingredients

  • 1 ball burrata about 8 oz (250g)
  • 2 medium ripe peaches pitted and sliced into wedges
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes or to taste
  • A pinch sea salt
  • Optional fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the spicy honey: In a small bowl, combine honey and red pepper flakes. Mix well and set aside.
  • Caramelize the peaches: Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add peach slices and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until slightly softened and lightly caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Assemble the dish: Gently place the burrata ball on a serving plate. You can either keep it whole or gently tear it open to reveal the creamy interior.
  • Arrange the caramelized peaches around and on top of the burrata.
  • Drizzle the spicy honey generously over the burrata and peaches.
  • Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt. If desired, garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, add a sprinkle of toasted pistachios or a few fresh mint leaves. You can also substitute peaches with nectarines or plums. Adjust chili flakes to your preferred spice level.
