Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 inch ginger grated
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp green onions sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds toasted

Instructions
 

  • Cut chicken breast into 1-inch bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and water to create the sauce.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Pour the prepared gochujang sauce over the cooked chicken. Toss to coat evenly, stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes sticky, ensuring all chicken pieces are well-coated.
  • Remove from heat. Transfer the Gochujang Chicken Bites to a serving dish. Garnish generously with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds, if using.
  • Serve immediately with steamed white rice or your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For extra crispiness, pan-fry the chicken in batches without overcrowding the pan. Adjust gochujang for desired spice level. Serve with steamed rice and a side of kimchi or pickled radish for a complete Korean-inspired meal. Chicken thighs can be used instead of breast for a juicier result.
