A refreshing and invigorating homemade tonic, perfect for boosting digestion and overall wellness with the power of apple cider vinegar and fresh ginger. Enjoy it chilled or warm for a natural health kick.
Ingredients
- 4 cup water filtered
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar with the mother
- 2 tablespoons sweetener such as molasses or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon ginger freshly grated
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt fine
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients: In a large jar or pitcher, combine the apple cider vinegar, your chosen sweetener, grated ginger, and sea salt.
- Add water and stir: Pour in the 4 cups of filtered water and stir vigorously until the molasses or maple syrup is completely dissolved and all ingredients are well combined.
- Serve and store: Serve immediately over ice, or chill in the refrigerator for later. Store any remaining tonic in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Notes
Enjoy this tonic chilled or warm. You can adjust the sweetener to your taste, or omit it entirely for a sugar-free version. For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper. Store any leftovers in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
