Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon dried peppermint leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried echinacea root or 1 tea bag
  • 1 cup water
  • optional amount honey or lemon for serving

Instructions
 

  • Bring fresh water to a rolling boil.
  • Place dried peppermint leaves, grated ginger, and echinacea (root or tea bag) into a tea infuser or directly into a mug.
  • Pour the hot water over the herbs.
  • Steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on desired strength. For stronger tea, steep longer.
  • Strain the tea if using loose herbs to remove solids.
  • Add honey or a slice of lemon if desired, and enjoy warm.

Notes

For extra sweetness, add a teaspoon of honey or a slice of lemon. You can adjust the ginger and peppermint quantities to your taste. Store dried herbs in an airtight container away from direct sunlight to maintain potency.
