Ingredients
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2-4 tablespoons water adjust to consistency
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- pinch black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together tahini, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Gradually add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, whisking constantly until the sauce reaches your desired creamy consistency. If you prefer a thinner sauce for drizzling, add a bit more water.
- Stir in the fresh chopped parsley if using, for an added touch of freshness and flavor.
- Serve immediately with your favorite snacks or dishes, or refrigerate until ready to use. Enjoy!
Notes
This sauce is incredibly versatile. Adjust water for desired consistency. For a thinner sauce, add more water; for a thicker spread, use less. Add fresh herbs like dill or cilantro for different flavor profiles. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Great with raw vegetables, falafel, salads, or as a sandwich spread.
