Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • 1 head broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 cup carrots sliced or julienned
  • 1 cup bell peppers any color
  • 0.5 cup snow peas
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp water or vegetable broth

Instructions
 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add broccoli florets and carrots to the wok. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften slightly.
  • Add bell peppers and snow peas. Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes (if using), and water (or broth).
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the vegetables in the wok. Toss everything together until the vegetables are evenly coated and the sauce has thickened slightly, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately, perhaps over steamed rice or noodles.

Notes

Feel free to substitute vegetables based on what you have. Add chicken, shrimp, or tofu for a more substantial meal. Adjust chili flakes for desired spice level. Serve over rice or noodles.
