Hot Honey Glazed Salmon Recipe
This Hot Honey Glazed Salmon is a delightful blend of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors, creating a vibrant and incredibly satisfying main dish. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or an impressive meal for guests.
Ingredients
- 4 ounces salmon fillets skin-on or off
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
- 3 tablespoons Melinda's hot honey or other hot honey brand
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub them with olive oil, then season generously with salt and black pepper. Place the salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the hot honey, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until well combined to create your glaze.
- Bake the salmon for 10 minutes.
- Remove the salmon from the oven and brush about half of the hot honey glaze evenly over the fillets.
- Return the salmon to the oven and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the glaze is slightly caramelized. Baste with the remaining glaze halfway through this second baking period.
- Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Notes
For best results, use skin-on salmon fillets. Adjust the amount of hot honey to your preferred spice level. Serve with roasted vegetables like asparagus or broccoli, or a simple rice pilaf for a complete meal.
