Ingredients

  • 200 g feta cheese block drained
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish
  • 1 tbsp green onions chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the feta block in a small oven-safe dish. Drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the feta is soft and slightly golden.
  • While the feta bakes, whisk together gochujang, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  • Remove feta from the oven. Pour the gochujang honey glaze evenly over the baked feta.
  • Return to the oven for another 5 minutes, allowing the glaze to bubble and thicken slightly.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

Serve hot with warm crusty bread, pita, or crackers. For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze. A sprinkle of fresh cilantro or chopped chives also makes a great garnish.
