Ingredients
- 200 g feta cheese block drained
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish
- 1 tbsp green onions chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the feta block in a small oven-safe dish. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the feta is soft and slightly golden.
- While the feta bakes, whisk together gochujang, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Remove feta from the oven. Pour the gochujang honey glaze evenly over the baked feta.
- Return to the oven for another 5 minutes, allowing the glaze to bubble and thicken slightly.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
Serve hot with warm crusty bread, pita, or crackers. For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze. A sprinkle of fresh cilantro or chopped chives also makes a great garnish.
