Effortless One-Pan Dinners
A vibrant, satisfying one-pan Italian-inspired dish featuring tender gnocchi, savory Italian sausage, and fresh broccoli florets, all roasted to crispy perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shelf-stable potato gnocchi
- 1 lb bulk Italian sausage
- 1 head fresh broccoli
- 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, combine the gnocchi, crumbled Italian sausage, and broccoli florets.
- Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Toss gently to ensure everything is evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture in a single layer on the prepared sheet pan. Ensure there isn't too much overlap for best crisping.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the gnocchi is golden and crispy, the sausage is cooked through, and the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Remove from oven. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
Notes
Feel free to use chicken sausage or a vegetarian sausage for a lighter option. Add cherry tomatoes or sliced bell peppers for extra vegetables and color. A sprinkle of red pepper flakes adds a nice kick if you enjoy a little heat. Ensure ingredients are spread in a single layer for best crisping.
