Easy Slow Cooker Garlic Parm Chicken
A wonderfully simple yet incredibly flavorful chicken dish, perfect for busy weeknights, featuring tender chicken bathed in a rich garlic and Parmesan sauce, all made effortlessly in your slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 0.5 cup chicken broth
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus more for garnish
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.25 cup fresh parsley chopped for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place chicken pieces in the bottom of a 6-quart (or larger) slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together condensed cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper until well combined.
- Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker with two forks, or serve whole. Stir to coat the shredded chicken with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese, if desired, before serving.
Notes
Serve over pasta, rice, or with steamed vegetables. For a creamier sauce, stir in a splash of heavy cream at the end. Leftovers are great for sandwiches or wraps. Chicken breasts tend to shred more easily.
