Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar sifted
- 1 cup ube halaya (purple yam jam)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp ube extract
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter with an electric mixer until it is smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar to the butter, mixing well after each addition until fully incorporated and light and fluffy.
- Add the ube halaya, heavy cream, and ube extract to the butter mixture.
- Continue beating until all ingredients are well combined and the ube butter is smooth, fluffy, and vibrant purple in color.
- Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before serving for best spreadability.
Notes
