Ingredients
- 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based (almond
- 0.5 teaspoon ashwagandha powder an adaptogen for stress relief
- 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch ground cardamom optional
- 0.5 teaspoon honey or maple syrup or to taste
- few drops vanilla extract optional
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the milk, ashwagandha powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and optional ground cardamom.
- Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until it is warm and steamy but not boiling. Do not let it come to a rolling boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the honey or maple syrup and the optional vanilla extract until fully dissolved.
- Pour the warm Moon Milk into your favorite mug. For an extra treat, you can froth the milk with a whisk or milk frother before serving.

Notes
Feel free to adjust the sweetness to your liking. For a richer flavor, use full-fat dairy milk or add half a teaspoon of coconut oil.
