Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based (almond
  • 0.5 teaspoon ashwagandha powder an adaptogen for stress relief
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch ground cardamom optional
  • 0.5 teaspoon honey or maple syrup or to taste
  • few drops vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, combine the milk, ashwagandha powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and optional ground cardamom.
  • Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until it is warm and steamy but not boiling. Do not let it come to a rolling boil.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the honey or maple syrup and the optional vanilla extract until fully dissolved.
  • Pour the warm Moon Milk into your favorite mug. For an extra treat, you can froth the milk with a whisk or milk frother before serving.
  • Enjoy your calming Moon Milk immediately as part of your evening wind-down routine.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the sweetness to your liking. For a richer flavor, use full-fat dairy milk or add half a teaspoon of coconut oil. Experiment with other adaptogens like reishi mushroom powder or maca powder. A pinch of ground ginger can also be a nice addition. Always serve immediately for the best experience.
