Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 0.5 cup cherry juice unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon ashwagandha powder or reishi mushroom powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or other sweetener (optional)
  • 4 ice cubes ice
  • 1 slice lemon for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a shaker or a glass, combine the filtered water, cherry juice, ashwagandha or reishi powder, fresh lemon juice, and maple syrup (if using).
  • Stir or shake well until the adaptogen powder is fully dissolved.
  • Add ice cubes to a serving glass.
  • Pour the mocktail over the ice.
  • Garnish with a lemon slice and serve immediately.

Notes

For a sparkling twist, use sparkling water instead of still water. Adjust sweetener to taste. You can also add a slice of cucumber or a few mint leaves for extra freshness. Ashwagandha has a slightly bitter, earthy taste, while reishi is also earthy; start with a smaller dose if you're new to adaptogens.
