Calming Adaptogen Mocktail
A refreshing, non-alcoholic drink infused with stress-relieving adaptogens like ashwagandha or reishi, perfect for winding down and finding tranquility.
Ingredients
- 1 cup filtered water
- 0.5 cup cherry juice unsweetened
- 1 teaspoon ashwagandha powder or reishi mushroom powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup or other sweetener (optional)
- 4 ice cubes ice
- 1 slice lemon for garnish
Instructions
- In a shaker or a glass, combine the filtered water, cherry juice, ashwagandha or reishi powder, fresh lemon juice, and maple syrup (if using).
- Stir or shake well until the adaptogen powder is fully dissolved.
- Add ice cubes to a serving glass.
- Pour the mocktail over the ice.
- Garnish with a lemon slice and serve immediately.
Notes
For a sparkling twist, use sparkling water instead of still water. Adjust sweetener to taste. You can also add a slice of cucumber or a few mint leaves for extra freshness. Ashwagandha has a slightly bitter, earthy taste, while reishi is also earthy; start with a smaller dose if you're new to adaptogens.
