Ingredients
- 2.25 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 0.75 cup granulated sugar
- 0.75 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips by hand until evenly distributed.
- Use immediately or prepare for freezing as desired.
Notes
For best results, chill dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. To freeze, form dough into balls and freeze on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months. Bake frozen cookie dough balls for 12-15 minutes at 375°F (190°C), or until edges are golden.
