Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon powder
  • pinch cardamom powder (optional)
  • 0.5 tsp ashwagandha powder (or other adaptogen
  • 1 tsp honey (or maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Combine milk, turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom (if using) in a small saucepan. If using, add ashwagandha powder now.
  • Heat over medium-low heat, whisking constantly, until warm and slightly frothy but not boiling. This usually takes about 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup until dissolved.
  • Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy warm before bedtime. Take deep breaths as you sip to enhance relaxation.

Notes

For a vegan option, use plant-based milk (almond, oat, or coconut milk work well). Adjust honey or maple syrup to your sweetness preference. A pinch of black pepper can enhance turmeric's absorption. Experiment with other adaptogens like reishi or rhodiola.
