A vibrant and unique non-alcoholic drink combining floral hibiscus, sweet mango, spicy ginger, fresh mint, tart lemon, and a sophisticated touch of fig balsamic vinegar for an unforgettable refreshing experience.
Ingredients
- 2 oz chilled strong hibiscus tea
- 0.5 oz Hibiscus Mango Ginger Syrup
- 3 leaves fresh mint
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 tsp Fig Balsamic Vinegar
- Ice for shaking and serving
Instructions
- In a shaking tin, gently muddle the fresh mint leaves with the Hibiscus Mango Ginger Syrup.
- Add the chilled strong hibiscus tea, fresh lemon juice, and Fig Balsamic Vinegar to the tin.
- Fill the shaking tin with ice.
- Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a fresh mint sprig or a lemon wheel, if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a sparkling version, top with club soda or sparkling water after straining. Adjust the amount of fig balsamic vinegar to your taste; start with less if you prefer a milder tang. A great base for a cocktail by adding a shot of gin or vodka.
