A refreshing and soothing non-alcoholic drink crafted with a blend of mixed berries, fresh lime juice, and a touch of adaptogenic ashwagandha powder to help you unwind and de-stress. Perfect for any time you need a moment of calm.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mixed berries fresh or frozen
- 0.5 cup water
- 2 tablespoons lime juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup or other sweetener
- 0.5 teaspoon ashwagandha powder
- 0.5 cup soda water chilled (optional
- fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Combine mixed berries and 0.5 cup water in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, until berries soften. Mash gently with a fork.
- Strain the berry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a glass, pressing to extract all liquid. Discard solids. Let cool completely.
- To the berry liquid, add fresh lime juice, maple syrup, and ashwagandha powder. Stir well until the ashwagandha is fully dissolved.
- Fill a glass with ice. Pour the mocktail mixture over the ice.
- If desired, top with chilled soda water for a refreshing fizz.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
Notes
For a sparkling version, top with soda water or sparkling cider. Experiment with other adaptogens like reishi mushroom powder or rhodiola. Garnish with fresh mint or lime slices. Adjust sweetener to taste.
