Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir in fresh rosemary and thyme.
  • Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper.
  • Place chicken in the prepared baking dish. Brush the mustard mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • For extra browning, you can broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • Remove from oven, let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

This versatile sweet and spicy mustard glaze can also be used as a salad dressing or a marinade for other proteins. For extra crispiness, broil for the last few minutes. Serve with roasted vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
