Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp Honey optional

Instructions

  • 1. In a small saucepan or skillet, heat olive oil or melt butter over medium heat. 2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. 3. Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice, lemon zest, honey (if using), salt, and black pepper. 4. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and swirl it gently for about 1 minute, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to slightly thicken. 5. Remove from heat. Pour the warm sauce directly over your cooked salmon fillets to coat them evenly. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

This sauce is also excellent with pan-seared chicken or roasted vegetables. For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. Adjust honey to your sweetness preference or omit for a purely savory and tangy sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill for added freshness.
