Easy Cheesy Ramen Noodles
This comforting Korean-inspired ramen dish combines instant noodles with a creamy, savory, and wonderfully cheesy broth, delivering a delicious meal in minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 package instant ramen noodles with seasoning any flavor
- 2 cups water
- 1 slice American cheese or other quick-melting cheese
- 1 tablespoon milk optional
- 1 teaspoon gochujang optional
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder optional
- 1/4 cup green onions chopped
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a small pot or pan.
- Add instant ramen noodles and cook according to package directions, usually 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the ramen seasoning packet. If using gochujang and garlic powder, add them now.
- Reduce heat to low. Add the American cheese slice and milk (if using), stirring gently until the cheese has fully melted and the broth is creamy.
- Carefully transfer the cheesy ramen to a bowl. Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use your favorite instant ramen flavor (spicy or mild). A slice of American cheese or processed cheese block works best for melting quickly. For extra protein, add a fried egg. Garnish with sesame seeds or a sprinkle of chili flakes for an extra kick.
