Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons gochujang Korean chili paste
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 pinch salt optional
Instructions
- Ensure unsalted butter is fully softened at room temperature, which typically takes about an hour.
- In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, gochujang (Korean chili paste), sesame oil, and sugar to form a smooth paste.
- Add the softened butter to the paste mixture. Using a fork or a rubber spatula, blend vigorously until thoroughly combined and smooth.
- (Optional) Taste and add a pinch of salt if desired.
- Transfer the butter mixture to a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap, shaping it into a log.
