Nice enough for Thanksgiving or any night of the week, these flavorful pan-fried Brussels sprouts with bacon and shallots will become a family favorite.
Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon
- ½ tablespoon olive oil
- 3 shallots chopped
- 16 ounce package frozen Brussels sprouts thawed, halved, and pat dry
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels, crumble, and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shallots and cook until soft.
- Add Brussels sprouts, cut side down. Cook, undisturbed until browned, turning once or twice, 7 to 9 minutes total.
- Add bacon and stir until heated through, about 1 minute.
